Full-bodied and hoppy with hints of malty caramel, Clausthaler Dry-Hopped is a beer connoisseur’s dream. As the first non-alcoholic of its kind, it brings together German craftsmanship, the world’s foremost non-alcoholic brewing technique, and Cascade Hops imported from the USA. This unique combination makes for an unmistakable citrus aftertaste and an amber beer with real character. Compared to Clausthaler Unfiltered, Clausthaler Dry Hopped has a distinctive malty character with a dark golden color.

Pours a clear deep auburn color with a one finger light tan head. It smells of hop resin and caramel malt. The flavor is mild to moderately bitter with a sort of green hop resin flavor and sweet caramel malt with maybe a touch of citrus. My expectations were low. It’s better than I expected.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours clear medium dark amber with a large creamy white head. Aroma of lightly roast malt and floral/citrus. Med body. Flavor matches the aroms. It's fairly dry and nicely bitter. There's a continuing flavor that brought the historic Near Beer to mind. Decent NA.

Bottle at MS HWY, 01/05/22. Clear amber to deep golden with a decent light beige cap. Nose is biscuit, caramel, grains, straw, hay bale. Taste comprises caramel malts, nutty, brown sugar dusting, toffee, biscuit. Light bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a dusty hop spattering. Decent AF number.

Amber pour. Thick foam. Even lace. Sweet flavor of malt with a bitter hops palate. I like this beer.

12 oz bottle poured. One of my favorite NAs to keep on hand during the no booze month each year. Golden amber pour, mostly clean. Soft bready malts, subtle grassy and nutty character. Tasty alternative to the green bottle. Flavorful lager. Nice hop influence. Tastes like a beer. I'm in!

Canned March 2nd, 2021, drunk 12/27/21. Minimal chill haze, large beige head fading quickly atop the light amber liquid. Gold and brass emanate. Even for 10 months old, this smells clean, fresh and still hoppy. Quite malty with light caramel and bread. Pleasingly bitter - this must be very hoppy when fresh. It's very malty as well, though a bit insipidly sweet. But the flavors are pretty good, especially the hops and I'd rather have it tend too malty than completely thinned out and watery like many NAs.
