Funk Land Country Shuffle brings the funk in this collaboration with our good friends at Country Boy Brewing in Lexington, KY. This beer is a blend of two spontaneously fermented beers, Creek and Quarry, along with Basis. We aged the beer in barrels from Country Boy and added Balaton cherries, cocoa nibs and chocolate mint. You can expect aromas of dark cherries and mint with flavors of fruity funk and hints of chocolate.

Bottle: Clear, deep, bubbled red with a small purplishring. Cherry/chocolate, light minty scent. Flavour is tart cherry malt, mint chocolate..... Mild woody bitter. Increasing cooling mint notes.....very nice.

Bottle. Cherry, mint, chocolate malt, lemon, and herbal hay aroma. Hazy dark ruby red with small head. Lightly sweet cherry up front followed by mint chocolate malt with a finish of moderately sour citric acid and mildly bitter fresh hay flavor. Nice balance of flavors - no flavor dominates.

Bottle thanks to Rob. Pours a cloudy ruby with small pinkish head that lasts. The aroma is strong mint, cherry skin, oak, chocolate.
