Pours amber with a thick white head. Aroma of fruity hops and tropical fruits. Taste has sweet malt backbone with a nice hop bite on the back of the tongue. Palate includes pineapple, guava and other tropical fruits. Very good beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear orange hue with a small white head. A light fruity nose. Perfume, soft orange nose. Sweet, a bit of slick resin, some big perfume like the nose. Very smooth. Pretty good.

Food Lion bottle. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is very perfumy floral - way too perfumy to be natural, along with some resin and stale hops. Flavor is floral hops, orange peel, stale funky hops, bread, mango, grapefruit, resin, pine, burnt malt. Meh.

Bottle from HomeBrewStuff. Almost clear golden, lazy carbonation, small airy head. Aroma leans on the hops first, small resiny scents, then some bready grains. Taste follows this formula, mild bitter hoppiness, then some solid malts. Still comes off as an APA though. I guess the ABV moves it into IPA land.

Taster pour at NH Brewfest. Appearance is clear greenish yellow with zero sparkle and small, light foamy head. Aroma is citrus, floral. Taste is bittersweet grapefruit and a little bit herbal. Palate is medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, a mix of juicy sweet and bitter grapefruit, living up to its bicoastal name. Not terribly complex but decent.

Clear yellow orange with at full lasting off white head. Modest sweet pine aroma and flavors. Some pithy citrus as well. Light toasted malts, smooth soft palate. A middle of the road IPA but nice flavors./

Hazy golden coloured body with a bit of an orange glow and a relatively thick, tan head, about three centimetres tall. Aroma of resinous, piney and very tropical fruity hops with a little malt in the nose as well. Medium-bodied; Assertive tropical fruit hops dominate with a great bitterness and even better flavour - balanced very well by the malt, make this a nice and enjoyable beer throughout. Aftertaste is still very bittered by all the hops, but left sweet due to the tropical fruitiness and the light banana and sweet yeast finish. Overall, a very enjoyable beer that has a lot of complexity, but a great hop character that make this far better than I was expecting from the funky bottle shape. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased in a mixed six-pack from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Alexandria, Virginia on 21-June-2017 for US$1,25, with a date produced on the bottle of 04 May 2017, sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia at Pungoteague, Virginia on 30-June-2017, my birthday.
