Pounder: Honey and corn nose. Clean yellow, medium head no retention. Chemical and honey. Light body, moderate carbonation.

Ugh, just no. Marginally better than the Rockdale Light, this is nothing but a watery, grainy, dusty swill.

Tall-boy can courtesy of Patrickctenchi in his never-ending quest in finding the world’s finest pale lagers. Stale corn, barley malt, and grass aroma. Golden yellow with giant white head - looks pretty good. Minimally sweet barley malt and mildly bitter fresh hay/grass flavor. Decent body. Not horrible - every once in a while City hits a home run......er no, well, sometimes they get a balk.

24 oz can. Clear yellow pour with a white head and poor retention. No lacing. High carbo. Light body. Crisp mouthfeel. Very light, sweet corn lager taste. Slightly more flavor than the light version, but not better.

Can: ($4.86 a sixer of tall cans at Wal-Mart) Clear gold with a tall, thick white head. Barley, honey scent. Taste is watery barley malt, corn. Rather flat, not much crispness. Not completely terrible...(for a cheaply done Pale Lager) Pairs well with Coq au Vin or making a Black&Tan with a 2012 Vintage KBS......just kidding.
