500 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown color and garnet highlights with a large light brown head with excellent retention. Good lacing. Very nitro-like pour. Bitter chocolate and molasses aroma. The taste follows the nose. Flavors of bitter dark chocolate, some coffee and molasses with a strong warming finish. A bit too strong and bitter for my liking.

Darkest brown. Aroma is coffe ground roast malty base a hint of peppers. Taste is intense chocolatey roasty with coffee and a tiny spiciness. Full bodied and drinkable. Very balanced. Could be more complex. Apart from that excellent.

Pours very dark brown color with tan head. Aromas of roasted malt and chocolate. Dark roasted malt and sweet chocolate flavors with slight bitterness and an ashy finish. Full body with minimal carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks Tom L. Black, not completely opaque, tan head. Great aroma, lots of chocolate and coffee, caramel, nuts, some roast, a bit of vanilla, swet, lactose, bitterish finish, medium-bodied. Very nice.

Bottle: Black with a small tan head. Milk chocolate aroma....a touch of licorice. Taste is slightly ashy, dark chocolate malt, some coffee grounds. Nice overall bittering over a good body......rich... Very good.

Bottle. Opaque deep brown stout with modest beige head. Excellent lacing. The aroma is coffee grounds, roast, earth, cream. Medium body. Soft carbonation. The flavour is mellow. Light creamy sweetness is blended well into the roastiness. Coffee again. Dark chocolate. The ending is dry. Earth and citrus hops show themselves. Very flavourful brew.
