We’ve created a beer. It’s a prestigious line of work, with a long and glorious tradition. The guys from Dark Matter Coffee dogpaddled their way down from Chicago back in February bringing their Fernet-infused coffee - truly a coffee of unusual size. Rather than go the more common route of putting coffee in a heavy, dark beer, we made a light cream ale! The dark wheat went in late, just to confuse your eye, and the coffee was added both hot and cold side to give you the full Pow! I just shit my pants. I know what you’re thinking, though, that this beer seems like it could be full of adventure, fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles, etc; but maybe we’re trying to trick you into drinking a kissing beer. You’ll just have to drink it to find out. There’s a shortage of perfect beers in the world.T’would be a pitty not to drink this one. Have you ever considered piracy? You’d make an excellent Dwead Piwate Woburts.

Growler: Very dark brown with a small, off-white head. Coffee, grain aroma. Taste is mildly bitter cold coffee, grain malt. Interesting take on a cream ale...... Drinks rather lightly for the ABV. Good coffee notes throughout...but not much cream ale-ness to it. Tasty.....but we may have been blaived on this one...whatever....as you wish.

Draft. Black coffee, biscuit malt, and dry hay aroma. Dark brown with moderate light off white head. Lightly sweet coffee biscuit malt, and mildly bitter coffee ground/hay flavor. Body a bit light. Coffee dominates - not much else comes through though.
