Bottle: Almost black with a small, dark head. Bourbon, chocolate/coffee aroma. Taste is sweetened black coffee, chocolate malt, bourbon, vanilla. Rich and full bodied (and flavoured). Excellently proportioned bourbon notes..... a slight woody bitter at the finish..... Damn.....this is a great beer.

Bottle (caged cork - cork was a bitch to get out). Coffee, vanilla, bourbon, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with small brown head. Moderately sweet coffee, vanilla, bourbon, chocolate malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body - excellent blending. A pleasure to drink.
