We love hoppy rye beers. For the Rye Scavenger, we took a fairly standard grain bill and added 23% Rye Malt to it for a beer that balances the rye spice with the intense citrusy fruit character of the Pacific NW hops.

Some pine and some booze. Pours orange with some golden head. A little potpourri like Better Homes and Gardens. Tap at Preservation.

Draft. Cherry, apple, rye malt, and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Moderate sweet orange, rye malt, pepper, and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Good body. Very solid.
