The nature of brewing inherently involves the combination of ingredients to create that final well balanced beer. Inside this vessel resides one part Malefactor, Epic Flanders-style red ale, and one part Dantalion Dark Wild Ale. These beers were blended and aged on Northern Michigan Montmorency cherries. The melding of these tow beers creates a complex sour ale with notes of spices, charred oak and copious cherry fruit character. Blended to be enjoyed by the Alchemist in all of us.

Bottle: (Batch 7c) Dark, slightly purpled brown with a small beige head. Tart cherry, barn/blanket funk scent. Taste is spicy and sour black cherry, caramel malt, wood. Nicely acidic and oaky.... Really nice.

Bottle (Batch 7C). Barnyard/horse blanket, oak, cherry, caramel malt, and dry hay aroma. Dark chestnut brown with moderate but short lasting tan head. Sweet-tart cherry, caramel malt, dry wood/brett, and moderately bitter hay flavor. Nice body. Dry finish. / (5-2-25) - Bottled 12/2016, Batch 2C (possibly wrong). Moderate vinegar flavor and caramel malt with nice oak finish. Really held it sourness but cherry notes pretty much gone.
