Can from total wine NC. Big foaming pour from a can. Very lively carbonation on the palate, nice. Man, I'm liking the cutting co2 in this brew. Actually burns the roof of my mouth a bit! Taste initially is very good hefe. Comes across like the old country stuff. In the middle it has a little bit if processed uncivil bitter bite in it. Yes, typical banana and just maybe a little bubble gum, but not as much as it should be. In the end it really is a good imitation of the old country brew. Haven't had a good hefe for a while and this is getting close to good, except that mild to medium processed feel it has on the finish.

Bottle: Hazy yellow with a short white head. Creamy banana, wheat scent. Taste is sour, lactic, wheat malt, green banana....a little peppery in the aftertaste. Seems to grow a little grapefruit-y after a bit... Different....misses the style by a mile.

Bottle (thanks to weihenweizen). Linalool, sour milk, banana, and malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Mildly sweet berry/banana, malt, mild sour milk, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Okay body. Funky - not a typical Hefeweizen.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with small white head. Aroma is light skunk, medium/light body, lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is grainy and some esters. Either old or subpar hefe.
