If you love smoky beeers, Bonfire Blonde is as good as it gets, with a rich vein of smoke running from the first sip to the last. This pale gold, medium bodied ale is balanced by Samuel Adams ale yeast and our favorite Mittelfrueh hop for a tart taste and finish. Cheers!

Bottle. Smoked ham, biscuit malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet honey ham, creamy biscuit malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Nice body. A very nice smoked beer.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass from Signal Variety. Appearance is beautiful, clear, straw yellow with huge sparkle, finger-width foamy white head with nice retention and decent lacing. Aroma is strong biscuit malts with a hint of roasted coffee. Taste is cracker/bicsuit with a vaguely burnt, slightly tart metallic flavor. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and dry cracker finish. Overall, a nice appearance and aroma but the smoke and tart aspects of taste aren’t quite right and don’t work so great together.

12oz bottle poured just now, at my home. Dissipating foamy white-yellow/gold. A-camomile/wood/hint of vanilla/musty grain, occasional phenol/citrus. T-light smoke, wood, lt malt, some tart, some spice hops up front that give way to the tart and lt malt. Easy, enjoyable.

Pours gold into a Sam glass white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Smoke and caramel aromas. Soft with sweet caramel, toffee and mild smoke front to back. Lasting dry, bitter earth finish.

Bottle: Clear gold with a short white head. Light fruitwood smoke, honey, grain scent. Taste is mildly smoky.....increasing as it warms...sweet, honey and grain malts. Very pleasant.....nice, though subtle, smokiness.
