12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/13/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear deep orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger dense cream colored head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/pine hops and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus rind, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, peach, pineapple, apricot, mango, lemon/orange peel, citrus rind, pepper, pine, caramel, brown sugar, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-full body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is nice. Minimal warming alcohol for 8.5%. Overall this is a nice DIPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/pine hops and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink for the big ABV; with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Definitely quite malty for a DIPA; but adequately drying, with plenty of hop presence. Fairly juicy feeling on hop character, with balanced citrus/fruity/piney complexity. Nice bready Munich malt backbone, with no residual sweetness. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Go figure. I knew nothing about this beer until I spotted a six pack out of state. No expectations but I looked forward to a try. Unusual initial taste. Sort of a blend between an ipa and a Belgian. Hoppy and then really rather sweet. Palate is all right. I cannot hate on this beer. Doubt I buy again but will sure drink the rest of the sixer.

Can, thanks (or do I give thanks?) to Andrew, pours a hazy orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of herbal hops, feet, and armpits. Flavour is sweet and herbal, with feet-like hops, sickly sweetness and cough syrupy caramel. Not quite as awful as I expected, but it's pretty shit. Sweet and unbalanced. Bad.

Can. Orange malt and peel aroma with metallic notes. Hazy golden yellow with large off-white head. Sweet over-ripe (almost spoiled) orange malt and modereately bitter metallic orange peel flavor. Decent body. Too sweet and unpleasant hops.

Can: Clear amber with a thick beige head. Biscuity, caramel malt aroma. Taste is cloyingly, sticky-sweet, caramel malt, fruit....candied orange malt.... A bit of spruce..... Nothing works well together in this one....kind of a mess. Rather disappointing.
