Bottle 0.33l at Black Door, Helsinki. BBE 12.2015. Colour is deep orange with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Fruits, spices, ginger and malts.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge orangey head. The aroma has notes of ginger and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, over ripe fruits, malt, and ginger, leading to a dry spicy finish. A clone between a Barley Wine and a ginger ale - odd.

Appearance: Fine tan head on top of a lovely unclear amberish brownish liquid. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, fruity and ginger.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a fresh bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Malty, fruity, bready, ginger and fine hoppy.
Overall impression: A match made in heaven together with sushi. Go Nippon.

Botella de 33 cl en Cimmeria 14-06-2014. Con fecha de cons pref para 02-2015. color cerezo con poca espuma beige, solo pequeña corona, aromas y sabores con predominio de jengibre no muy intenso, además de ciertos toques cítricos y maltosos ligeramente dulces. No tan empalagosa como otras de jengibre se deja beber bien, dándole sus 8 vol una buena intensidad. No esta mal, original.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Ginger not very present. Moderate bitter slightly spicey flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Cloudy orange small head. Aroma is slightly herbal ginger. Flavor is malts ginger quite strong ginger.

Bottle at KØ14. Mild ginger aroma. Cloudy red amber colour. Small white head. The flavour is caramelly with a late ginger note. Sweetish, but partly balanced by the ginger.

Bottle: Poured a murky burnt brown with a fluffy tan color head. Aroma is very weird with herbal and veggie. Taste is malty with more veggie and a dry zesty finish.

Pours moderately hazy/cloudy reddish copper color with a 2 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of ginger root, caramel, pear, apple, citrus zest, toast, brown sugar, brown bread, toffee, herbal, floral, grass, light clove, and herbal earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance of ginger, malt, hop, and yeast ester notes; with good strength. Taste of caramel, ginger, toast, brown sugar, pear, apple, light citrus zest, brown bread, toffee, herbal, floral, grass, light clove, and herbal/toasted earthiness. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, ginger, toast, brown sugar, pear, apple, brown bread, toffee, herbal, floral, light clove, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of dark/bready malt, ginger, and moderate yeast fruitiness; with a good malt/spice balance and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy, smooth, and slightly slick mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice spiced amber ale. All around good balance, complexity, and robustness of malt, ginger, and moderate yeast ester flavors; and very smooth to sip on. A very enjoyable offering.
