Can: Pours slightly hazed copper/amber with a small, off-white head. Fairly bready, pine and caramel aroma. Caramel malt.....spicy, cooling pine, orange-peel taste. Not bad....strong bittering.

$2 bottle from vintage. Smells quite fruity and attractive and it does look pretty good in the glass with its orange brown color and quarter inch rocky head. Taste is yummy green grapefruit rind mixed with pine tree sap, the thick stcky kind that sticks to your hands and can’t get off. Yes, such wonderful soapy mouthcoating happy BS. What else can be said, terribly on style for an imperial ipa, just a little darker than usual. Don’t care for this ridiculous style, to each his own. One ratebeerians fun brew is another’s penance. Straight up ass.

Sample at Daily Growler UA during the "2 year Anniversary Celebration/Christmas Beer Party" on 12/17/2014. The beer pours a clear copper color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, grapefruit and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a short citrusy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.
