Bottle from Interspar, Feldkirch. Aroma is malt, caramel, touch of nuts, slight hint of chocolate. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a light bitter finish. Body is medium. Drinkable but fairly dull mediocre Dunkel.

0,5 l bottle. Dark red brown in the glass, one finger pale beige head. Low malty on the nose, fruity hints. Taste has increasing malt, caramel, low fruity background. Low carbonation. Smooth at the palate.

Quite a few 500 ml. bottles drank at the local pub in Lustenau (Austria). Drank from the bottle. Nose is herbal leaves, spices, bay leaves. Herbal, kitchen spice, leaves, bit thin & fizzy but some spice & bark bitterness actually, not amazing but quite solid & it did the job for sure.

Bottle. Hazy brown color with white head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, slightly buttery. Taste is milk chocolate, again a touch buttery. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. I would say this is a touch sweeter than the regular s'klenne Dunkle.Earlier Rating: 8/19/2016 Total Score: 2.7Bottle. Brown color with amber highlight and a tan head. Aroma is sweet, chocolate, malty, syrup. Taste is the same, quite sweet. Not bad, nothing special either.

Bottle, 0.33l. Aroma of cereals, honey, wort and grass. Clear dark brown color with medium frothy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with light sweet caramel and mildly roasted malt, following is nutty and grassy, mouthfeel is rather dry, while finish is mild to medium bitter. Light body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Glad it’s only “Kleines”...

Bottle from Beer advent calendar Back to the crate standards. Rather malty aroma, thin body with light to medium bitterness and light roasty finish. I ain't even mad.

Pours dark brown, topped with thinner and nonlasting tan head. Mild malty nose with slightl soury feel. Sweet maltiness with a bit roastiness. Metallic aftertaste. Watery body. Quite messy.

Ein recht klassisches Dunkles mit recht intensiven Schokoladaromen, die aber nicht so trocken wie manches Stout rüberkommen, sondern schon ein bisschen buttrig à la Pilsner wirkt. Das erzeugt einen interessanten Ton nach Milchschokolade. Viel mehr hat es aber nicht zu bieten. NIcht übel, aber es gibt bessere.
