This collaboration has been ‘brewing’ for quite some time. Indeed Brewing Company partnered with their neighbors at Dogwood Coffee to create Burr Grinder “Beer Coffee”. After searching for the perfect coffee, 90-pounds of Guatemalan Finca Rosma was steeped in the brew kettle before we topped-off the finished beer with 54-gallons of cold press.
Delivering an intense coffee punch while preserving the delicate aromas of the complex beans, Burr Grinder will have you wondering whether you’re a beer geek or a coffee geek.

Bottle - thanks Bvery! Pours clear reddish chestnut, medium creamy tan head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is coffee, ashtray, roasty malt, cardboard. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, coffee and cigarettes, a bit stale. Lightish body, a bit of acidity and high carbonation. Not bad.

Pours a dark brown with rapidly-dissipating head. Aroma of roast coffee. Flavor is primarily dark roast coffee, with a bit of spiciness, and some sweet malt underneath. Very smooth and tasty.

Share courtesy of our tasting host, douglas88. It poured up with a clear deep copper body supporting an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up smooth nutty coffee roastiness. If I close my eyes and smell it seems just like a cup of coffee. The taste has a medium roast coffee note mixing with faint chili pepper that delivers zero heat. Pretty nice cup o joe.

750 ml bottle. Pours a deep brown color with some reddish hints with a medium light beige head. A big nose of coffee and peppers. The flavor is vanilla, earthy, dusty/dry, huge roasted coffee, light pepper and more vanilla. Good.
