Can from Total Wine Houston enjoyed in the hotel room. Hazy dark straw color with a decent sized off white head that slowly recedes. Bready honey malt with light banana and clove with earthy spicy hops to counter. Not bad.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Secret Santa crajun! Hazy orange, thin fizzy white head, fair retention. Aroma of citrus, wheat and a mild bit of hay and banana. The taste is citrus, wheat, spice, yeast, green banana, toasted malt. Thin-medium bodied, refreshing. Solid beer.

Bottle: Clear, bubbly dark gold with a white head. Aroma of soft bananas, bubblegum. Taste is the same, with the bubblegum being the more pronounced. Very tasty....just a little on the thin side, though.

Bottle. Strong banana, bubblegum, clove, and bready malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet banana, bubble gum, light clove, and biscuit malt flavor. Decent body. Pretty good - wish it had more malt flavor.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen. Pours hazy pale golden with small white head. Aroma is banana and grain, light body, medium carbonation, and little big-bubble lacing. Taste is grainy, some banana, some spice, and hints of clove. Too grainy.

Very slightly hazy blonde coloured body with a fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, coriander seed, bubble gum, oranges and plenty of hay. Medium-bodied; Very mild flavours, but the wheat and yeast flavours are intense - a lot of soft wheat notes throughout with a very smooth finish. Aftertaste shows hints of the bubble gum, nutmeg and some light coriander seed, but this is all about the wheat - very refreshing! Overall, a very nice german style wheat that doesn’t look the best, but has a great refreshing flavour full of wheat. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whip-In in Austin, Texas on 05-May-2014 for US$1.79 sampled at home in Washington on 31-July-2014.

Texas Mesquite Grill, Katy tap: Pours cloudy light orange with a white head. Aroma is very much banana with some spice. Taste is basically sweet banana with a whole hock of spiciness. Not bad. Went well with the barbecue.

On tap at flying saucer Houston. Pours a murky yellow orange with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of sweet bananas with a good amount of flora and a bit of sweet wheat. Flavor is sweet with bananas, light fruit and flora backed by a sweet wheat note.
