bottle - Hazy gold pour, smells of grainy malt and apples. The flavor is sweet. As expected apple dominates it. There's an uninspired, light bodied beer as the base for all that apple. Decent.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 7/2015. Pours hazy deep golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon peel, green apple, pear, light pepper, wheat, cracker, light honey, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of lemon/apple, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon peel, green apple, pear, light pepper, wheat, cracker, light honey, light herbal/grass, and yeast earthiness. Minimal herbal bitterness/yeast spiciness and slight wheat/apple tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon peel, green apple, pear, wheat, cracker, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and solid robustness of lemon/apple, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester flavors; with zero cloying flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness after the finish as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a very solid apple shandy. All around good balance and solid robustness of lemon/apple, pale malt, and light earthy hop/yeast ester flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink. A pleasantly enjoyable offering.

So, how many travelers will there be? A hundred, a thousand, a million? A brazillion? From a $2 bottle we have doughy apple candy perfume permutating on my olfactory. Looks like a light hazy hefe or a witbier. Was expecting something overly sweet but this is not. Good balance of dull apple flavors against a light beer. Surprisingly good initial lacing. Lacing fades like tissue T shirt that gets wet. Yes, taste is quite apple and I’m just hoping nothing is artificial in this brew. Well, at least the label sheds light that the apple juice is added after fermentation. Yes, there is just a tad of lemon oil in thar’. Bring on the next traveler, I’m gonna’ make a lucrative business on these tourists. Hopen’ the unfermented sugar doesn’t hurt my tummy.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a pale clear yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of apple that has a bit of acid backed by sweet grains. Flavor is quite sweet from the apple with acid and light grains underlying.

Bottle. A- Red Apples, Green Apples, Apple juice, slightly sweet, candy. A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Apples, wheat, slightly unbalanced. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, boring finish. O- The smell was outstanding. A candy like apple sweetness. Then the taste was pretty boring, not that I expecting much out of it. Surprisingly not horribly artificial tasting or sweet.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this cider poured a hazy yellow-gold color with an enormous fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar and tangy apple although it reminded me of an apple Jolly Rancher. The flavor was tangy apple and sweet sugar - again more like a Jolly Rancher. Long finish. Medium body.Meh.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a hazy orange with a thin fizzy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of sweet and tart apples. Candied but not artificial. Some mild spicy notes in there as well. The taste is muted sweet apples and a bit of lemon. Medium bodied.
