Our latest Shandy-style beer takes of our favorite tastes from simpler times and fashions them into something new. We blend traditional wheat beer with oak and citrus for a crisp flavor combination that’s as bright as the autumn leaves.

Can at GABF. Pours a clear orange gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat and lemon zest. Thin body, wheat, lemon, odd finish, no.

12 oz can from the Fall Shandy variety pack bought at Super 1 in Post Falls, ID. Aroma is fairly similar to an Old Fashioned cocktail, with booze, wood, cherry, orange and vanilla strong, along with lemon. Pours milky yellow with a medium white head with good retention. Flavors are similar--this really tastes like the cocktail, I’m really surprised here. It’s lightly sweet with no bitterness. Creamy wheaty mouthfeel, fine carbonation, medium to light body. Very creative with a nice flavor. Best of these fall shandys for sure.

Can. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Flavor is full of bitter lime citrus with a decent amount of spice, light sweet grains and a bit of spice. Flavor has an odd minty oakiness with a hint of citrus and sweet grains.

Can. Orange/lemon/lime and barley malt aroma. Cloudy pale yellow with giant white head. Lightly sweet orange, flat lemon-lime soda, and light malt flavor. All I can think of is dishwater - flat and bland.

12 ounce can. Pours a hazy orange with a large foamy tan head. Poor head retention. Aroma of orange creamsicles, cinnamon, wheat. The taste is vanilla, orange, green apple, mild oak and pine. Some spice in there as well. Sweet and cloying, thin bodied, all weird and jumbled and off balance. Meh.
