On tap Widmer, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings pungent notes of clove, followed by banana. Flavour is very smooth and balanced, with lots of clove and banana balancing each other out. Dry and vibrant - correctly made to style. Very nice hef.

Pours a cloudy yellowish orange color, small off white head, looks like a hefe. Aroma is wheat spice and sweetness, hefe yeast good balance of banana and clove, touch of lemon, fresh malt. Style appropriate light sweetness, good fresh grain flavor, a little spice. Light to medium feel, pretty normal carbonation, probably should be higher but it’s a bar tap. Solid hefe, not going to blow anyone away but it’s easy to drink and tasty.

Bottle. Pours a hazy earthy yellow with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a rich wheat note with a hint of sweet banana and growing clove notes. Flavor showcases the wheat as well with only a bit of sweetness and clove.

Pour is a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is corriander and clove. Kind of a surprise in a good way. Flavor is lots of wheat esters some bubblegum and banana. Maybe a touch watery but this was overall and pretty kickass hefe. I hope this makes it into their full lineup.

12 oz bottle from the Craft Brewer Alliance Explorer variety pack bought at WinCo in CDA, ID. Aroma is full of clove, banana, earth, bread. Pours hazy orange-yellow with a one-finger white head that falls after a minute into a skiff of foam. Taste is full of German Hefe phenols and esters along with a nice biscuitiness that makes it stand apart. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. They should replace their lame flagship "hefeweizen" with this, most definitely. This is good.
