Our alcohol-free weissbier is the first non-alcoholic beer ever to be marketed by the Andechs monastery brewery. The dealcoholisation process is gentle, so as to preserve that typical Andechs weissbier flavour for which it is appreciated so much.
The first thing that strikes you about the alcohol-free weissbier is its honey-to-amber colour, while its yeast turbidity is strong and yet finely structured. The multifaceted aroma is a delight, with fruit aromas including banana combined with a clove fragrance. As a drink, Andechs Alcohol-Free is very lively and highly refreshing with a satisfyingly full and elegant body. On the finish, it combines a light sweetness and fruity acidity with the distinct and yet pleasantly bitter flavour of hops, ending on a harmonious aftertaste. An alcohol-free thirst-quencher with the typical Andechs weissbier flavour: a fine yeast component, pleasantly tangy and sparkling in a way that makes you thirsty for more (original wort content: 12.5 percent by weight; alcohol content: under 0.5 percent by volume).

Cloudy amber color and a beautiful, white head with fine and long lasting bubbles. Nose is fruity bananas, yeast and clove. Taste follows the nose. Nice carbonation. Good one!

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Hazy golden/amber body with a thick off-white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of copper and brown bread. Flavour of wood, grain and weak tea. Thin to medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Good flavour.

500 ml. bottle sampled @ Kloster Andechs. Nicely hazy orange, creamy white, looks the part. Nose is that weird soggy paper NA Hefeweizen, yeast, strange,… Taste is strange paper, wheat, sugar, overly sweet orange peel, plastic,… Not even Andechs could pull this one successfully off.

500 ml bottle. Cloudy orange, three finger white head. Fermentation acids, yeast, some clove, lemon. Medium sourness. Light bodied, milky watery texture, lively carbonated, sour finish. Not bad.

Hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma is banana wheat toast coriander. Taste is juicy slight bitter nutpeel with lots of wheat. Not really watery. Ok.

Bottle from the holy Schänke. Light milky orange-yellow, offwhite cream. Light paper, hay, allspice aroma. Medium light, chalky chewy body, oxidized papery straw and humus base, dry spices, a bit north-African, fruity chewiness, straw, cardboard, ripe banana retronasal.

Bottle from Beerhunter111. Many thanks! Hazy yellow colour, white creamy foam. Nose of banana, wheat, bread, light lemony. Taste is medium sweet, banana, malts, wheat. Very well balanced. No cardboard or wort notes that are typical for most non alcoholic beers. Very nice.

Alez to piwo ma piane gigantyczna jakby do malej miski z woda wlac cala butelke plynu do kapieli, a ile osadu, barwa ciemno pomaranczowa, smakowo ziarnisto, zbozowo, skorka pszennego chleba, nieco lekkiego karmelu, kwaskowo leciutko. Taki profil smakowy i wrazenia przy piwie bezalkoholowym to jest cos niesamowitego.
