Wenig süßer Getreideantrunk, mild herb. Das Bier bleibt konstant, die Aromen und die Intensität ändern sich kaum. Frisch, kurzes Finish. 8/8/10/8/7/8
Earlier Rating: 5/23/2011 Total Score: 2.8
In Ordnung. 7/8/8/8/10/8

Bottle from Classic Deli aka Dodgy Deli, Cowley Rd, Oxford, consumed at home Sunday 5th August 2012 Gold with white head, soft in the mouth, sweet, cereal and a lack of bitterness, but it is ok. Creamy mouthfeel, light fruitiness. Fine but just fine nothing more, nothing less. A7 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2

Bottle. Bready hayish and sulphuric notes with a citric hop couyterpoint. Golden, fine carbonation, white head. Smooth mouthfeel deliveres a extremely wellbalanced and chewy Helles. Nice subtle citric notes on a light yet crunchy malt body makes this brew quite moreish. Secret champion of outer Munich.

Bottle: Almost hazy, greenish-golden, small persistent white foam; juicy grainy and sweet malty nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, soft MF; lingering honeyish-malty and grainy finish with a faint illusion of hyish hops. Superbly crafted Helles.....

(bottle) Clear, yellow colour with a thick foamy white head. Sweet and slightly grainy aroma with a touch of sour dough and spicy herbal hops in the background. Sweet and faint bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, slightly crispy carbonation. Pale malt-character with doughy and grainy elements, rounded up with present herbal hops; mildly bitter hoppy finish. Unspectacular, but also classical Bavarian Helles (13.VII.09).
