This German ale is refreshingly tart and effervescent, featuring lemon character with subtle honey and grain notes. Souring techniques deliver a delicious beer that is low in bitterness and pleasantly acidic.

On draught at the Upland Tasting Room. The beer is a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to an outer ring. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and herbs. Light-bodied with a mildly tart lemon and orange flavor with notes of grassy hops and malt. The finish is lightly tart with a lemony aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft @ Indy location. Tart lactic lemon berry aroma. Cloudy pale apricot/straw with a large creamy white head. Creamy lactic wheat and tart lemony flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. I could drink a lot of this one.

Draft: Hazy yellow with a small white head. Lemon, yeast, wheat aroma. Taste is wheaty, citrus...a little orange alongside the lemon. Very nice and subtle.

Draft. Lemon and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with minimal head. Light sweet-tart lactic lemon and wheat malt flavor. Hint of salt in the finish. Very solid, authentic beer. The waldmeister syrup worked well with this.
