Can. Really disappointed in this one. Golden, apple juice color. Aroma was artificial apple smell and the taste was just a little too sweet.

Already biased, but ever hopeful... $1.75 single from NBD. Stemless wine glass. Clear, amber pour, with a wispy ring of lace that stays put. Smells of candy red dipped carnival apples, plus booze. Can’t forget the reason we’re all really here. Sweet Tarts and red apples upfront. That nostalgic candy sourness. Nostalgic is really the wrong word here. It turns a bit tannic and marzipan/baked. Quiet finish. Texture is crispy, with a syrupy body. A bit fake & sweet, but far more tolerable, then the last one. I wouldn’t mind one in a pinch, but just one.

Pretty good. Sweet red/green apples/skins with light tartness; some earth/light spice. Balanced sweet/tart finish. Smooth/light carb.

Light yellow white big bubbles. smells like jolly ranchers and grammy smith apples. This is like drinking jolly rancher candies. very sour even. intense. I quite like it

12oz bottle from Supermarket Liquors
Clear light golden, no head or lacing. Aroma of applesauce and sugar. Taste is is green apples, tart, grainy and sugar, dry finish
Decent, sweet but the tart balances it out. Reminds me of sucking on a Jolly Rancher.

So I was planning on writing a treatise here on how hard it is to rate ciders sometimes. It seems to be a forgiving style - even the bad ones are still OK to drink, but its also a tough style, because its hard to break through from something that is just OK to drink to "holy cow this is amazing". But then I got bored and figured that this cider isn’t worth the effort. Its basically very sweet fizzy apple soda with alcohol.

Soapy apple nose. Clear yellow. Tangy apple flavor, like Laffy Taffy candy. Fizzy. Artificial and very sweet, but pretty darned tasty.

This was poured into a wine glass and a pint glass. There wasn’t any difference.
The appearance was a little light yellow color with streams of bubbly carbonation rising to fill a head that was dieing just as fast as the carbonation was rising. Guess what, there’s no lacing.
The smell had tart and sweet apples.
The taste was sweet and tart through the apples with a slight vinous flavoring.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a decent sessionability about it. However, the carbonation is quite poundingly harsh.
Overall, thanks for the so-called beer stat for a non beer. Don’t think I’d touch this again with a ten foot pole.
