Everybody wants a piece of the Action!, and for this brand new NABC release, the brew team brainstormed classic American Pale Ale formulations (you should have tasted the homework) and settled on a British Pale Ale malt bill, with uniquely American Galena and Mosaic hops, the latter a Simcoe/Nugget hybrid. Super San Diego yeast does the heavy lifting, and the end result is timeless, fruity ale with earthy, tropical notes.

On tap at New Albanian, pours a hazy golden amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bright stone fruity hops and a dry biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is assertive in the hop department for a pale, with crisp biscuity malt and light fruitiness. Dry and nicely balanced. Good stuff.

Growler: Clear copper with a small, off-white head. Very sweet, nectary orange aroma...leafy hops. Taste is sweet orange malt...nice earthy/grassy bitter. Almost makes you think it’s a mild-mannered DIPA. Very tasty.

Nonic pint draft at the Bank Street brewery in New Albany, Indiana. The pour is a lightly hazed golden copper with a smallish white head. The aroma is leaf, tea, general bitterness and a gypsum mineral in the back. The taste is the leaf, tea and mineral of the nose. The mineral shows as earthy and flinty. The palate is light to medium bodied with soft carbonation and a bone dry mineral chalky finish. Super leafy, kinda weird.

Bottle. Clementine orange malt and lightly earthy/grassy citrus peel aroma. Amber with large head (almost like a nitro head). Earthy/lightly smoky orange malt and moderately bitter lemon peel/pine flavor. Very unique - really like this beer.
