This unusual copper lager is out to prove that you don’t need to be an IPA to be a palate-rendingly hoppy beer. A blend of light malts were kissed with just enough roasted barley to lay a hint of reddishness into the color. The high mash temperature coupled with a cold lager fermentation yields a full but clean mouthfeel. The crispness of the fermentation allow the dominant American hop flavors to really shine through. Plenty of resinous, piney, and grapefruity flavors come from the large additions of Simcoe and Centennial while Bravo provides a backup of orange peel flavor. Generous dry-hopping further accentuates these distinctly American hops and leaves your teeth with no enamel whatsoever.

Draft. Grapefruit peel, light pine, and caramel malt aroma. Hazy amber with small head. Sweet orange toffee malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Very nice hoppy amber lager.
