Bottle. Caramel chocolate malt aroma - metallic notes initially. Dark brown with small head. Mildly sweet light chocolate malt and lightly bitter herbal and metallic flavor. Watery finish.

Bottle: Clear, deep brown with a puffy tan head. Cola, caramel aroma. Taste is caramel malt, spicy hops, a hint of nut, toast. A bit weak, but a decent flavour.

Pour is brown with a large tan head. Aroma is caramel malts a little sugar and a wee bit o hops. Flavor is mostly a heavy caramel malt with little else. Meh its an amber ale but heavier in body and a bit more flavorful than most.

A reddish brown ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty malt with light maple notes. In mouth, a woody nutty malt with light maple fudge, herbal hops, OK. Tasted at Raquette River Beer and Wine Fest, July 13 2012.

Bottle @ home. Dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Toasty caramel malty, sweet toffee, earthy hoppy aroma. Tangy, a touch fruity, sweet caramel malty, nearly cloying flavor.
