Draft. Clear yellow gold body. Frothy white head, lasting. Aroma of campfire smoke, charred oak, toasted grain, pine. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. The finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Taste of smoky oak. Light tartness and lingering bitterness.

Clear, light gold with white head. Wood smoke, wheat scent. Smoky ham, wheat malt, lemon. Very light, but quite nice.....comfy smokiness.... Good stuff.

Growler. Smoked ham aroma - right up there with Schlenkerla. Slightly haze gold with a moderate white head. Honey smoked ham, wheat malt, and very light grassy flavor. LIght body, moderate carbonation. Very nice smoked beer.

Draft. Smoked lactic wheat malt aroma - very nice. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Strong wood smoke, lactate, and wheat malt flavor. Light body Would have liked a stronger malt flavor but still a great easy drinking beer.

Draft at the brewery in Louisville, Kentucky. The pour is a lightly hazed yellow golden with a smallish white head. Nice lacing left behind. The aroma is citrus fruit, grain wheat, and a soft dying fire type smoke. The taste is a gentle mix of the citrus fruit, the wheat and the soft smoke. The palate is medium bodied, fine active carbonation, and a pleasantly lingering smoke earth finish. Well done, nice Gratzer.
