Brewed in conjunction with Josh Halfbright from Flat 12 Bierworks, this hoppy saison is brewed with a generous addition of Spelt, a hexaploid of wheat. It was a European staple in the Bronze Age. A generous addition of Pacific Jade and Nelson Sauvin hops pair very well with the wild, fruity, farmhouse notes brought out by the French Farmhouse Saison yeast strain. A high attenuation along with plenty of simple sugars yield a dry, mildly tart, fruity, earthy, hoppy, complex beer. Drink it up!

Draft. Musty lemon and grainy wheat malt aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with large head. Musty sweet lemon malt flavor. Moderately bitter herbal finish. Very nice. Glad that Spelt has made it to the US - really enjoy the flavor.
