Hazy deep dark brown with some ruby glows and a very thin off-white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, malt, alcohol and bunches of curacao. Medium-bodied; Nice full wheat and yeast taste with strong spices, good sweetness and lightish (for the style) body. Aftertaste is nice and smooth and relatively sweet for the style. Overall, a nice beer and great to try as we arrived here and it was snowing after coming from 60degF plus in Washington. I sampled this pint on draught at the brewery in Traverse City, Michigan on 05-November-2010.

Draft. Light chocolate and barley aroma. Chestnut brown with small head. Caramel malt, hay and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Very different - not your typical dunkel but still a nice beer. Very hoppy for the style.
