Flaska från beernavigator. Kolsvart, lågt beige skum. Fantastisk doft av mäktig chokladdessert, fudge och kaffe. Söt, stor kraftig, småbubblig munkänsla men stora smaker. Stor mäktig kropp med massor av mörk malt och en hel del alkoholvärme. Lätt men tydlig beska. Perfekt dessertöl. Fantastiskt.

Bottle from Nina’s Mini Market. Black body with no head. No lacing. Aroma of rich chocolate cake, raisin, petrol and pistachio. Flavour of dark chocolate, cherry and dark malts. Possibly too rich? Medium body with a slick, oily texture. Light fizz. The ugliest Imperial Stout I’ve rated to date, but it tastes pretty damn good.

Great, well balanced imperial stout. Pours dark and thick black with ok head and lacing. Some of that classic peat smoked malt aroma that pervades a lot of De Molen stuff. Light burnt aroma. Soft carbonation. Dark chocolate. Finishes a little more sweet than bitter, but good balance. Definitely prefer this to the Wild Turkey version. Bottle thanks to Colemanzuber at Churchkey. Cheers!

Dark, roasted, subtle and complex. Great stuff! | [2015-09-13 01:28:32] - Locatie: SjogroWorld™ - Score: 4 - Comment: Cadeau van Anja. Verbrandde graanschuur met chocolade en vanille. Diepe smaken, ingemaakte kersen, bramen, fikse gronderige bittere hop ook. | [2020-05-15 01:09:52] - Locatie: SjogroWorld™ - Score: 4 - Comment: Droog, poederig, houtskool, verbrande suiker, zoet. Is dit nog hetzelfde als vroeger? Minder impressed maar lust het nog graag. | [2021-01-14 23:49:21] - Locatie: SjogroWorld™ - Score: 3.3 - Comment: Erg zoet, valt vandaag niet op zn plaats.. | [2021-08-12 23:39:04] - Locatie: SjogroWorld™ - Score: 3.9 - Comment: Black with tan head. Sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Burnt coffee, ash, bitter dark chocolate, a hazelnut, over medium sweet and strong bitter. Full body, yet not a very thick mouthfeel, it’s kinda milky actually. Gonna be the last one in a while.

Very dark brown, minimal bubbly beige head. Very complex; spices, syrup, espresso, bourbon, roasted malts, burnt cookies, dark chocolate. Very rich, sweet taste with burnt bitter finish. Thick, syruppy feel, with creamy carbonation. Great stuff.
