A special treat with a light palate, rich body and fruity tones. Light clove and lemon aroma are gently laced with banana. Vision Weiss is served absolutely unfined (and, of course, unfiltered). One dollar from each pint of Vision sold at Lennie’s throughout the season will be donated to the Cardinal Stage Company. A portion of sales of each keg will also be donated by the brewery. Hops:
Mt. Hood and Tettnanger. Malts: Munich, American 2-Row

on tap-disappearing white-cloudy pale yellow. A-coriander, wheat/lt malt. T-coriander/banana, wheat/lt malt.

Draft: Hazy golden-yellow, thin white head. Lemon-citrus aroma. Flavour is tart, wheat malt, lemon. Very minimal spicing... Simple.....nice.

tap at the brewpub - Pours a cloudy, light straw color. It smells of bananas, citrus, and spice. The flavor is sweet and bland. Overall I give this light bodied brew a rating of "meh".

Tap. Light wheat and apple aroma. Pale yellow color with small head. Lightly sweet lemon/orange and wheat malt flavor. Light, easy drinking beer.

Hazy blonde with a nice banana and yeast aroma. Tart taste and pleasant bubble gum, with notes of spices, cloves. Medium bodied. (July 31 at Indiana Microbrewers Festival)

I once compared this to Lemon pledge. It has mercifully improved over the years, but still lacks character. Its a light spritzy, slightly lemony weizen, but the yeast lacks character. Titled a weiss but described by the brewery (accurately) as a hefeweizen.
