Bottle. Deep dark color. These are the kind of Black IPAs I like. Not too bitter and full of roasted flavor. Aroma is roasted grains with notes of citrus.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts, over carbed. The aroma is roasted malts and pine. Medium mouth, roasted malt, earthy hop, lingering bitterness, decent.

12 oz. bottle thanks to queenholly. Insane pitch black color with over carbonation. Tan head flowers so powerful I had to pour half. Wait and pour the other half. Aromas of roasted barley and pine hops. Flavor is very good balance of roasted malts, (coffee and chocolate) with strong pine hops that has a long bitter pine finish. With proper carbonation this would be very good.

12oz bottle thanks to MadBeerBaron...thanks Ben! A pretty solid, drinkable Black IPA. Deep brown-black body, thin glass rimming beige head. Big roasty notes, sort of oily in a good way, with a solid hop backbone to even it all out. A real quality example of the style, not overbearing, and has lots of quality ingredient depth.

Growler: Pours very deep brown with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, mild chocolate. Taste is strong, roast coffee bitter. Piney hops. Very smooth. Good stuff.

Tap at brewery. Coffee, chocolate, and light piney hops aroma., Dark brown with a large tan head. Espresso, piney hops flavor with a long roasty finish, Body on the light side of medium, lively carbonation. Very nice

Tap at New Albanian. Pine and grapefruit hops and orange malt aroma. Black color with moderate head. Sweet orange toffee malt and pine hops flavor. Nice blending of sweetness and hops.
