Irish Red Lager
Named for Steves' friend Ed Lewis, who has been building canoes and paddles in this area for many years and who built Steve his custom mash paddle for the brewery. Deep red in color, this beer has a nice maltiness balanced with an English hop bitterness in the finish.

Tap at brewery. Sweet butterscotch, banana aroma. Copper with a small off white head. Funky malt, grassy hops flavor. This one was kind of weird for me.

Tap. Butterscotch malt aroma. Hazy amber color with small head and nice lacing. Sweet toffee malt flavor initially with strong bitter citrus hops finish. A good one.

On tap at Dusty’s Tap Room, Okemos. Hazy red body, thick, creamy head that leaves nice lacing. Soapy, piny hops assert slight dominance over Munichy caramels and berries. Nice, herbal, bitter finish. Well-balanced and tasty.
