Introducing Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that looking back. Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma. Palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was our head brewer back in the day. Cheers George!

Enjoy with darker meats, pork pies, sausage & mash, steak pie or Sunday roast.

50cl Bottle. Clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of grain, caramel, some tobacco. Flavour follows, simple grain and caramel with some bitterness, high carbonation. Light bodied.

Thin off white head soon left a collar & spotty cover on a translucent light copper coloured still body. Malt, caramel & spices aroma. Medium bodied, smooth over the tongue with a slightly effervescent clean back. Caramel, tea, sugar, berry & faint hop tastes.

Can. Clear amber-red body, off white head. Quite perfumey aroma. Randomberry jam, caramel malt. Alcohol?! Lifeless body, some background fullness/sweetness, but dead dry at the palate, light malty, vaguely fruity taste. Maybe 5 IBUs of "bitterness", vaguely herbal, near the finish and in the aftertaste. Little to no appeal in it as a whole. Some of the fruity/malty notes come off as nice, but are drowned in unappealing dryness. Sub par but can't hate it wholly.

can from supermarket in puerto rico, gran canaria. clear amber, smooth offwhite head. very malty, slightly herbal aroma, sweet herbs, very nice, also faint woody notes, bleding well in with the sweet herbal notes. flavor is quite fresh yet quite malty too. some almost metallic bitter hops does not go well with the flavor, but overall flavor is nice and quite complex with nice woody notes.
