Introducing Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that looking back. Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma. Palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was our head brewer back in the day. Cheers George!

Cask, In de Wildeman, Amsterdam. Orange brown color. Citrusaroma with hints of raspberry and flowery hops. Citrus flavor, especially lemon, with flowery and earthy hops. The raspberry returns in the finish. Nice and refreshing.

On handpull at the White Hart in Wimborne. Pours a rich amber. Toffee, touch of chocolate, biscuit, pear, stewed red fruit. Slightly coarse body. Decent.

500 ml bottle. Clear amber, no head. Roasted malt, caramel, citrus, a bit metal, bread. Malty sweetness, light dry bitterness. Medium bodied, watery oily texture, soft carbonated, dry bitter finish. Okay.

Bottle. Darker amber, offwhite lace. A hint fruit and caramel, mellow medium light body, lightly juicy base, light grassy hops, quick caramel finish. Mostly anonymous, quenching.

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, dość obfita, umiarkowanie trwała. W aromacie tytoń, nuty ciasteczkowe, trawa. W smaku słodowe, lekko tostowo-karmelowe, nieco chmielu, nieco estrów. Goryczka niska do średniej, ciało niskie do średniego, wysycenie w normie. Niczym specjalnym się nie wyróżnia.

3/5/2019. Cask at the 28th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, biscuit and fruit. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation. A little insipid.
