A seasonably darker best bitter brewed with UK hopes and infused in the boil with spiced rum soaked raisins, sultanas, cinamon and star anise to give this a delicate festivate twist.

Bottle thanks to Ashton McCobb. Pours clear mahogany with a thin beige head. Aromas of light spice and caramel. Taste is more of the same. Fine.

Bottle from the brewery. Appearance - deep brown with red chinks. Cream to tan head. Nose - plum, cinnamon and possibly nutmeg. Taste - wood spices dominate this time. Still some prunes or raisins. Palate - quite light bodied. Dry spicy and very slightly roasty finish. Overall - I think the amount of fruit and spices in this would work better with a stronger and more malty beer.

500ml bottle. Cloudy brown with a lively off white head. Aroma is heavy on spice. Flavour is, bizarrely, tart berry (gooseberry?) with more of that spice on top. Not unpleasant

Hazy brown beer with a bubbly beige head. Light, spicy malt aroma. Flavour is dried fruit, aniseed, some light hop. You do get the spicy Christmas thing they're going for but it doesn't have a lot of body or oomph. It's alright.
