0,33l from bottle at One for the Road, Mestre. Bb 12/26. Almost black color, small tan head. smells spices, earthy, roasty, hints of smoke, some bitter chocolate. full body, creamy carbonation. tastes bitter chocolate, toffee, cocoa, light coffee, milk chocolate, light lactose, nutty, hazelnuts. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of cocoa, toffee and hazelnuts. This is great, super creamy mouthfeel, nice combination of chocolatey flavors, super smooth to drink.

Pours black with a small but firm and nicely persistent slightly off-white head. Good lacing too. A rather simple aroma shows soft toasted malts, milk chocolate and slight coffee. Good and clean though quite subdued. Taste is luckily more vivid, with feelings and taste notes as per aroma. Medium to high sweet and medium bitter, with a balanced finish. Medium bodied with light, soft carbonation, resulting in a very nice silky-smooth feel. A smooth, easy, drinkable stout, and a good one at that.

Cask at Ritual - Roma. Pours deep brown with a foamy, khaki head. The nose has soft toasted malts, background chocolate. Medium sweet flavour, some oily and sugary chocolate, low bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Sugary finish, some dark fruits, raisins and blackberries, chocolate, low roast. Decent cask gear.
