340ml bottle. Pours clear golden amber with a small head, quickly dissipating. Aroma of light sweet pale malts, grainy, corn, subtle hops. Taste of sweet malts, grainy, corny, any hops are too subtle to notice, a touch of bitterness in the finish. Light body, thin oily texture, average carbonation. Ok but really not that much better than most big macro produced lagers.

Bottle. Golden color, white foam. Aroma: boiled corn, grain and malt, a bit spicy. Taste: sweet, corn and malt, steamed grain, slightly knits.

Tasting from bottle at All Points North tasting. Appearance - golden with a decent head. Nose - light bread, herbs and hop spice. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent lager. Good example of the style.

Bottle 340ml. @ [ The Country Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Aarhus. [ As Jack Black Brewers Lager ].Clear medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, cereal, pale malt, corn, sweet malt. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, corn, sweet malt, pale malt. Bottle at Aarhus tasting. Pours clear, golden, no head. Aroma of light hop, grain and caramel. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Quite gassy. Rather bland.

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting, my place. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, grass, hops and straw. Nice bitter finish.
