Bonito is a spiced variation of our popular Sweetlips blonde. Buchu, an endemic South African herb used in many traditional remedies, imparts unique mint, orange, and blackcurrant aromas that are very obvious on the nose and linger in the finish.
Malts: Pale Ale Malt, Munich
Hops: Galena

33cl bottle. Pours cloudy and golden with a decent head and some suspended yeast. The nose is really tart with a creamy background. The taste is more yoghurty sourness. I suspect this beer is off, so a proper rating is hard to give, therefore I’m giving something around the mean.

A summer ale, but smells funky. Dull blonde. Taste is bland, crackery, sweet and w too much funky yeast.

340ml Bottle (At Jolo’s) - Hazy golden in colour. Malt, fruit, grain and hops in the aroma. Malty, tangy and slightly tart taste with notes of lemon, lime and peach.
