Wild Saison
This vibrant, bright, rose-colored saison is full of floral & spice notes mixed with hints of tartness from the foeder aging & hibiscus flowers. It is a unique creation brewed with rose hips, rose petals, & hibiscus, giving this saison a character & color all its own. A beautiful piece of art presented in a glass.

This beer is a bright reddish-orange color with a thick white head that diminishes gradually. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruit, florals and yeast. Medium body with flavors of fruity yeast, hibiscus and biscuit malt. The finish is floral and fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

750 ml bottle. We got a gusher!! About 8 oz. ended up on the table and floor. Hazy pink color, with massive head retention. Aroma is all flowers and roast petals. Soap.
Flavor shows a sickly amount of hibiscus, rose petals, subtle barrel notes and old Belgian yeast. Light body with a huge lively mouthfeel due to the over carbonation/ infection. Perhaps if you like drinking dead flowers, you will really enjoy this beer. Entirely to much dead flowers.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 6/10/2013. Massive gusher upon opening, but no lost beer. Took a while to pour it. Pours very hazy reddish orange color with a fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Dense foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a large amount of streaming carbonation retaining the head. Aromas of big green apple, pear, cherry, pineapple, lemon zest, rose petal, herbal, floral, grass, clove, light pepper, light caramel, bread, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, flower petal spice, and malt notes; with good strength. Taste of tart green apple, pear, lemon zest, cherry, bread, light caramel, rose petal, herbal, floral, grass, clove, pepper, musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Slight earthy tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of apple, pear, lemon zest, cherry, bread, light caramel, rose petal, herbal, floral, musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, flower petal spice, and malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately prickly mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warming present after the finish. Overall this is an excellent spiced saison. All around great balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, flower petal spice, and malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

Draft - Sour grape and a bit of grass. Cloudy gold with a bubbly white head. Sour grape, flowery, yeast and booze, sweet and fruity. A refreshing saison, but a bit too sweet for me.
