Wild Saison
This vibrant, bright, rose-colored saison is full of floral & spice notes mixed with hints of tartness from the foeder aging & hibiscus flowers. It is a unique creation brewed with rose hips, rose petals, & hibiscus, giving this saison a character & color all its own. A beautiful piece of art presented in a glass.

750mL bottle, pours a murky dark orangey brown with a huge off-white foamy head. Aroma of light rose petals, hibiscus, and floral notes. Flavour brings out strong flowery notes, hibiscus, and more rose petals. Not a conventional saison by any means. Very flowery and fairly dry, without much residual sweetness. Not a huge fan of these spices / flavours, but for what it is, this is very well-crafted. Solid stuff.

Draft at ChurchKey for Night of the Living Ales: Part 3. Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Aroma was herbal notes, some earthy character to it, touches of flowers. Flavor was sweet, malt notes, some earthy lemons.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours a cloudy reddish copper with a thick white head. Aroma of rose hip tea. Flavors of rose hip and other floral notes with a tart lemon pepper finish. Refreshing.

Poured from a bottle it is an effervescent hazy amber beer with a big white foamy head; the aroma is of pepper and the taste is of rosehips that lingers on the palate.

Refrigerated 75 cl bottle, batch 58 bottled 05-16-2013, poured into a tulip. Pours translucent crimson with huge pink head. Some small bubble lacing, medium body, over carbonated, and fruity aroma. Taste is fruit, spice, hibiscus, with dry finish. A gusher and annoyingly so, once this dies down this is good.

750ml. Orange-brown. Oliy head. Not unlike every other JP under the sun....awesome. Mellow doughy malty tones. Sour tones of course. Straightforward, underlying vanilla tones. Another nice one.

Cloudy red - brown beer. Big fluffy pale cream coloured head. Mild sour lactose nose. Light dry palate. Flavour is somewhat odd. Mild lactose and watery hibiscus - tangy, Mild floral notes - really just a bare whisper of rose. Mild minerals. Dry finish. Itβs okay but too wishy washy.

Acquired in a trade. 2010 batch, bottled in 2012. HUGE gusher. Lost half the bottle. Poured a glass out of it and a minute later, bubbles came out of the bottle again. Never had a half full beer continue to bubble over the neck.
A - Murky plum / amber brown. HUGE head of 10+ fingers had to pour insanely slow. Decent lacing head was purple white.
S - Tart grape skins on the nose, floral and blackberry scents as well. Some breadiness.
T - Nice up front bright raspberry tartness. The middle is an earthy light juicy where the hibiscus comes through. Finish is this very mild cherry and plum taste. Lots of low acid fruits come through and itβs a nice solid drinkable beer.
M - Medium body, tons of carbonation but the mouth feel is great.
O - I like this beer a lot. Drinkable.
