A highly roasted chocolate ale, unfiltered and unpasteurized, made with special malts that bring out caramel and chocolate flavors. The class history and its distinctive taste acquire a new dimension with the addition of unique raw materials, six different malts from barley and pure Greek barley.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a creamy and lacing beige head. Sweet, vanillaish aroma. Body is very slick and smooth, again vanilla accents atop of the roast, getting some malt bitterness towards the end but remain a somewhat creamy character. Not bad. 260916

0.33 l bottle at Beerstore!, Thessaloniki, Greece. Shared with lovely Anja and her father. Black, small tan head. Coffee, nuts, prunes, light roasty, light licorice, black olives. Roasty dryness, light sour. Creamy texture, medium body, soft carbonation, light dry finish. Very good in style, quite dry.

33cl Bottle on Syros, at the boulevard. Great find on an island that seems to have abolished good beer. The local Carrefour used to stock some variety but has now gone to Amstel and Heineken only. Man was I disappointed. Anyway, the beer is black with a beige head. Aroma of chocolate, brownie, cocoa, roasted malts, coffee, plums. Flavour is light to medium sweet, roasted, chocolate, light fruity, caramel, dry bitter finish with a hint of berries. Light to medium bodied, firm carbonation. Good, tasty.

Bottle on Lesbos. Weak aroma, but besides that a typical and nice stout. Liquorice, healthy bitterness. Tasty!

Bottle from European Secret Santa, thanks rouhlas! Pours pitch black, bit of sticky beige foam. Aroma has some velvety milkiness. Stout as a milk stout. Bit of roast also in the nose. Taste feels actually surprisingly heavy and bitter hops are giving it more character. I do get some slight smokiness and dark fruits. Pretty good stout, maybe somewhat edgy around the corners but I did like it.
