A highly roasted chocolate ale, unfiltered and unpasteurized, made with special malts that bring out caramel and chocolate flavors. The class history and its distinctive taste acquire a new dimension with the addition of unique raw materials, six different malts from barley and pure Greek barley.

330ml bottle bought online from Maltby & Greek. Pours pitch black with a thin brown head. Aroma of dark roasted malts. Flavours of bitter chocolate, some coffee, toasty malts, dry finish. Medium body. A pretty reasonable ’dry’ stout, although a tad bitter for my palate

BOTTLE 33 CL. Cloudy dark brown, beige head. Strong toasted malts aroma, a little roasty, a little sweet. The taste is sweet chocolate, creamy sweetened coffee, velvety mouthfeel, quite a bit of hop bitterness. Nice.

Svart med høyt vedvarende mørk beige skum. Lukter tuxi hostesaft, anis, salt lakris og noe havre. Middels minus i fylde. Lakris også i smak, men en søt type, kaffe, mørk sjokolade, anis og havre. Lett bitterhet. Middels lang.

330ml bottle bought at Machu Picchu Bar & Deli. Pours a finger-thick fawn-coloured head leaving clingy lacing behind. Coal black body with a shade of brown. Nicely roasted aroma of black malts. Dark malty driven flavours with moments of coffee and salty liquorice. Rounded roasted malty end. Medium bodied. Enjoying. (Hotel Room, Rethymnon 16.06.2017).

bottle from somewhere in rethymno. pitch dark, smooth brown head. aroma is dark caramel, roasted malts, nuts, chocolate powder. flavor is roasted malts, woody like almost sour dry bitterness , the kind i sometimes find in coffe stouts, very low hopping, and whatever hops there are only provide a little bitterness that is hidden by the roasted malts bitterness ( i think ). still very flavorful stout, and in my opinion better tasting than the speical guinness versions out there, but perhaps a bit less refined than the normal guinness. Not a bad choice if you want a dry, bitter not-sweet not-us-hoppy uk style stout.
