One of Aloha's original beers brought back for the first time at the new location. Ehu means reddish-orange. First brewed in 1996.
A combination of roasted and crystal malts give this a smooth drinking amber ale its reddish orange hue, and light caramel notes. A liberal amount of East Kent Goldings in the finish provides balance along with subtle earthy, citrusy and spicy notes.

As Aloha Red. A reddish dark amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, weird grassy malt with light boiled veggies. In mouth, a nutty malt with light soy notes, strange, so-so. On tap at brewpub, Nov. 30, 2012.

Tap. Just the barest hint of malt - not much aroma. Cola brown color with moderate head. Caramel malt flavor. Slightly spicy finish. High carbonation. Very nice beer - not a typical APA.
