Tap at TCBW 2018. Pours amber. Aroma is sweet, caramel, malt, some hops. Flavor follows the nose. Overall: well they have managed to make boring amber ale... didn't get much ginger or wasabe, which may be even good thing.

Draft - Very meaty, like smoked spicy sausage. Clear copper with a small white head. Light sweet and again a bit meaty.

Hazy blood orange color. The koji comes through with slightly acidicness that reminds me of blood oranges. Malty, medium body with moderate amounts of acidity. Dry finish slightly lingering acidity. Decent.

Keg at Jing A Taproom, Beijing. Hazy reddish amber, small head. Buttery nose with some spicyness. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramelly and fruity, a slight tingle of horseradish. Low bitterness. Mild and unusual.
