Bottle. It’s amazing how while these two blended together to actually taste much better then the two combinations seperately. This one is worth multiply tastings

Pretty black it tis. Not seeing light through it. Good frothy head of foam with lacing.

Roasty with dark chocolate and a strange other bitter smell.

Roasted malt with bitter chocolate, hints of fruit when I swish the beer in my mouth. Again, there’s something going on with that bitterness that’s off putting to me me.

Okay mouthfeel.

Good brew of the style to get me a Black and Tan style entry. Not something I would bother to buy again.

Smells pretty nice, no hint of alky in the aroma but there is a sense of metal in there. Nice and dark, has an thin tan head that does not fade. Somewhat more alky in the initial taste than I care for. Certainly is big in flavor, roasty bitter, but no real sign of hops. More personality than most dark lagers and porters. After each slug there is this lingering bitterness. Finish is just a hair more bite than this lager lover appreciates. Average beer. You can tell this porter is 6+%.

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a tan head that stays over a dark brown body. Aroma of chocolate, meat and raisins. Taste is cocoa, chocolate, and wet dog. Lively but sparse bubbles. Watery mouthfeel.

Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Light roasty aroma with grapefruit. Roasty, coffee flavor with grapefruit. Medium-plus bodied. Some bitterness throughout. Grapefruit, caramel, and light roast lingers. Muddled - but what do you expect with grapefruit and roast/coffee.
