Łomża boasts a long brewing tradition. In tribute to this fact, we have been brewing Łomża Wyborowe at our brewery from the very beginning. Available in north-eastern Poland, it has a traditional hoppy flavour.

500 ml. bottle. Nice noble hop aroma. Brassy gold color with a decent white head; coarse bubbles. Between thin and medium body. Mildly fizzy carbonation. Tastes the least bit caramel, and there’s a good dose of grassy hop to balance it. Bitter builds nicely in the finish. Decent lager. Way better than the macro lagers.

500ml bottle - Pours clear yellow with a medium sized head. It has one of those barely there aromas that are far too much of the style. It’s another thin, sweet lager and certainly goes down easily. There’s some mild hops that gives it some balance. Meh.

Canned(500ml). -Probable the stronger version of Lomza Export. Nice hoppy aroma with some herbal notes, very dry. Light hoppy finish.

Bottle. Sour grainy malt aroma. Light yellow with small head. Sweet barley and corn malt flavor. Not very good at all.

Pale gold, fading head. Sourish aroma. Husky and astringent. Some decent spicy hops surround a center of sourish bland malts. Papery, empty finish. Possibly stale? Not appealing.

Pour is a clear yellow with a fizzy white head. Typical eastern Euro lager here. Aroma is faint and flavor is mildly hoppy and super fizzy. All in all this is not bad or offensive and quite refreshing.

Clear lighter golden colour with a nice thin (1 centimetre thick) dense white head. Strong aroma of malt, small perfumey hops, metal and even a slight sprucey earthiness. Light-bodied; Mild taste of malt and that light hoppiness which gives way quickly to a watery flavour. Aftertaste is fairly bland, but some slight appley flavour is noticeable as well as a slight sweetness. Overall, not too great, and I prefer the 'Export' to this one. I bought this 500 mL bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester, New York.
