Hopfiger Antrunk, frisch, angenehm. Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck): Visible carbonation, straw golden, mid-sized, quite firm and lacy white foam, sweet-malty nose with cardboardy and grassy traces; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; harsh, grassy-bitter finish. Not very good.........

(33cl bottle, with thanks to quack-duck) Clear, pale golden with a foamy white medium head. Quite shy and light-sweet malty aroma with light-grassy hops. Bitter flavour, light to medium boied with a moderate, creamy carbonation. Initially short malty, herbal hoppy; dry and bitter hoppy finish with a moderate malty sweetness in the aftertaste. Decent.

A light yellow beer with a nice white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of straw and alcohol, the latter also giving it a touch of metal. The flavor is sweet and very malty, but also lightly alcoholic and metallic, leading to a dry alcoholic end. I’m surprised the alcohol is so present in as mild a beer as this.
