Madero is a RUM BA Imperial Spiced Stout. In 2018, we brewed 'La Adalita', an imperial stout with cinnamon, cacao nibs, vanilla and chillies.
We filled a dark rum barrel with the base beer, additional sugar, extra cacao nibs, more vanilla and extra birdseye chillies from Thailand. We matured the beer for just over a year to bring all the flavours to life.
Madero is a complex spicy, chocolatey flavoured beer with a distinctive warming rum finish with a slight heat.

29/XI/19 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival 2019, BB: n/a - (2019-2011) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Aroma: lovely, sweetish, oxidized, roasted. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: very roasted, lots of alcohol, nice, chocolate, coffee, bitter, bit sugary. Aftertaste: dry, bit acidic, lots of alcohol.
